Psalm 138-Walking in the Midst of Trouble

Truth for Truckers” *June 18, 2014* Psalm 138 “Walking in the Midst of Trouble

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, Thou will revive me, Thou shall stretch forth Thy hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Thy right hand shall save me.” (v.7) David, the man of war, wrote this powerful Psalm for our blessing here in the 21st century. Every single Christian will walk in the middle of difficult and troublous times during our journey here on earth regardless of how we handle ourselves in the everyday activities of our life.

But, just as David, we can count on the Lord to revive us by intervening with His Holy Spirit for “When the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” (Isaiah 59:19) Just as David penned in this Psalm: “Thou shall stretch forth Thy hand against the wrath of my enemies.” “For it is God that will fight our enemies and “His right hand shall save [Deliver] me.”

These promises are what we must lean upon when we are under assault from the enemy, for we are promised full and complete deliverance from the three enemies of our soul, the world the flesh and the Devil. Therefore, Drivers, get a grip upon the precious Word of God and see God move on your behalf!
